Stop off at The Park Hotel and leave your car in the car park. Dogs, walkers and campers receive a very warm friendly welcome. The privately owned 18th Century Gentleman House at the foot of The Black Mountain is situated close to The Offa's Dyke Trial. Have some morning coffee and then take the lane to foot of Hatterall Hill an easy walk to the top and see the Devil's Table along part of the Offa Dyke trial. Fantastic views of the Monmouthshire and Wye Valley. Walk down to the Old Castleton village and back along the lanes to the Park Hotel for lunch.
