Park Walk - Shaftesbury
County: Dorset
Difficulty: Easy
Duration: Up to 30 minutes
Wheelchair Friendly: Yes
The view from Park Walk in Shaftesbury is probably one of the most beautiful in Dorset - looking out across the Blackmore Vale, which is why I enjoy taking Pippa, my Westie, for a nice little walk along there, in front of the Abbey.

Sandbanks beach to Bournemouth Pier
County: Dorset
Difficulty: Easy
Duration: 1 to 2 hours
Wheelchair Friendly: Yes
This is lovely walk along a wide sandy beach. The water is shallow for the dogs to play in quite safely and there are plenty of other dogs to ensure your dog is well socialised. Dog poo bins and fresh water are every 100 metres and there is a hard surface on the promenade for wheelchair users to walk their dog. Most importantly it is far from the road making it one of the safest places to take your dog out for a 2 hour walk
